Student Homestay Services Inc. (SHS) was started by school teachers in Toronto over 25 years ago. Our core values of care, trust, and integrity are at the heart of everything we do. With that warm-hearted foundation, we sought out to enrich the lives of international students as they embarked on their new Canadian journey’s. We made it our mission to visit every neighbourhood in the city to provide safe and caring host-families for all of our students, and to truly experience the value of having a more fulfilling adventure.

 

As our SHS team grew it provided a major advantage: our staff directly hosted over 300+ students in our own personal home's. Those early interactions allowed us to experience every aspect of the homestay process and provide more genuine exchanges for our students and partners. What we personally learned was integrated and instilled within our vast host-family network. The benefits of laughing together over a home cooked meal, while being supported through important life stages in a new country, allowed us the privilege of even happier life-long memories and insight.
